TOUGH GRADING SYSTEM
Friday, January 29th, 2010All schools in France have the grading system. The grading is done on a scale of 0 to 20, 20 being the best grade possible i.e. truly perfect. Overall, this system falls tough on students as hardly anyone gets a 20 or even 19. To add to it, teachers shout the grades when handing over some assignments. The bottom-line is that the low grades are no to improve you but to make you react strongly to aim higher.

Friday, January 15th, 2010Education system in France is symbolized by early age school going. Mostly, children in France start going to schools from the age of 2, nearly 50% of the children, or from the age of 3. The schooling in France is mandatory until the age of 16. Where in other European countries like Germany and Finland, children spend less than 700 hours in school; here in France, more than 900 hrs of schooling is done every year.
